Queen of the Bewildered and Confused - Wannabe Warrior Woman
Absolutely no disagreement with Patrick ... however, there are examples of abusive women w/ children and husbands. I know, not as common, but any act of violence to a child is unforgivable.
Didn't he mention that? I thought he did. I think to be fair though, and I hear that "argument" from a lot of guys, there are a lot more women who suffer from domestic violence than men. A huge part of the issue is the broken people who abuse. No one "in their right mind" becomes an abuser. My first husband had seen his father beat up his mother on the few occasions he was home (he was a long haul truck driver) only to be beaten with electrical cord by his mother. Abuse makes abusers. That's where the fixing needs to start and gender doesn't matter then, does it?
